| The CAL-PAL® is a portable, self-contained instrument designed specifically for accurate, convenient calibration of electronic pressure transmitters, transducers, switches, gauges, and other pressure measuring instruments. When used in conjunction with a portable hand held pressure pump, the CAL-PAL® is a complete, self-contained portable pressure calibration system.
The CAL-PAL® pressure calibration system measures and displays applied pressure as well as milliamp output signal of electronic transmitters or transducers under test. Display indicates pressure in seven selectable units of measure; transmitter output signal is shown in milliamps or percentage of 4-20 mA. A unique cycling circuit displays pressure and transducer output signals at four second intervals.
Pressure switches can be tested using a built-in contact closure circuit which illuminates an LED indicator.
The CAL-PAL® can also be used as a precision digital test gauge to measure pressures with a high degree of accuracy.
The calibrator is supplied with two 9 VDC alkaline batteries to provide approximately 40 hours of operation. The CAL-PAL® comes complete with a cordura carrying case and three foot test leads.
This compact, rugged, highly accurate, temperature compensated instrument is ideal for field use. |
