It has been designed to be used for torque verification in assembly and manufacturing. |
MultiTorq is a small compact and accurate electronic meter capable of acquiring data from a variety of torque sensors and logging values into memory. It has been designed to be used for torque verification in assembly and manufacturing.
MultiTorq can be used for auditing and process reporting while giving statistical process control (SPC) of stored data.
MultiTorq can also be used with in-line transducers resulting in the accuracies associated with assembling with an electronic torque wrench. |

Features |
- Versatile Battery operated, light weight, with available ranges from 2-20 in-oz to 150-1500 ft-lb, and seven units of measure, in-oz, in-lb, ft-lb, Nm, dNm, mKg, or cmKg.
- The MultiTorq¢â system can be used with sockets, extensions, universal joints, ratcheting drivers or any of these combined
- PC Statistical Analysis Output: Down load histogram, minimum and maximum reading, mean, sigma N, sigma, CP, Cpk, % error, number of readings under and over tolerance
- Serial Port Interface with Computer or Printer: True RS-232 communications port for down loading to computer or serial printer. Also configurable to Mitutoyo statistical printer protocol
- Smart Sensors: Built-in EEprom memory chip identification and calibration factors. Factory calibrated, a sensor retains its accuracy with all MultiTorq¢â meters, just plug in the desired sensor. Periodic re-calibration is necessary
- 120/220 Vac 60 Hz Adapter: Rechargeable battery and handy belt clip allows you to take it to the task
- Visual and Audio Cues: Analog bar graph at top of display provides a live indication of applied torque.
- An over warning flag comes on to indicate maximum sensor range has been exceeded. Green MIN LED indicate lower tolerance has been achieved and a Red MAX LED indicates upper tolerance has been exceeded. Audio alarm produces a distinctive 2Khz tone.
- Audio output jack for optional head phones in a noisy environment.
- Track or Peak Mode: Track mode displays applied torque value and Peak mode displays highest torque value
- Easily Calibrated: Customer calibration supports ISO9000. Instructions for step-by-step calibration provided in the user¡¯s manual
- Data Acquisition: Store and recall up to 3,500 readings. An internal memory backup battery retains setup and last memory data for up to ten years
- Analog Bar Graph
- Super Twist Liquid Crystal Display
- 7 Torque Units
- Track Mode
- Peak-Hold Mode
