The Loop-Powered
Explosion-Proof Digital Field Meter provides on the spot display of
important process variables in engineering units. The 1 inch high liquid
crystal display can be read in a wide variety of ambient lighting
conditions and from a distance of up to 50 feet.
The meter is
housed in a rugged cast aluminum explosion-proof enclosure.
Intrinsically safe - Class I, II, III; Div 1; Gp A,B,C,D,E,F,G. The
enclosure is also rated NEMA 4.
Calibration is a
quick two step process involving the adjustment of only two
non-interacting potentiometers. Since the meter is powered directly from
the loop it can be mounted virtually anywhere. And the loop will hardly
notice the meter’s low 1 volt drop!
